MESROB POSTER PRESENTATION SUBMISSION

The accepted posters will be presented as printed posters. All posters will appear on poster boards in the poster area and will be available for viewing for participants at all times during the conference.

The MESROB Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to submit a MESROB Poster Presentation for consideration for the MESROB 2021.

Posters must be submitted via email mrodic@kenes.com until the deadline 15th March 2021 (23:59 CEST).

POSTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

All posters are required to be prepared according to the below instructions and to be sent to email address mrodic@kenes.com until above deadline. Email subject “MRW Poster Submission” should be used.

  • Poster should be created and submitted as a 1-page pdf file in portrait orientation. A template should be used. The document should not exceed 10Mb.
  • Accepted posters will be presented during the conference that is why it is important to consider the poster presentation instructions already during the submission. Please refer to the bottom of this page.
  • All posters must be written in English.
  • Graphs, tables and images should be included.
  • Define all abbreviations and concepts in your poster at first use.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the poster before its submission.
  • Only posters of authors who have paid their registration fees by April 19, 2021 will be included in the Scientific Programme and published in the on the EU-funded scientific platform: Zenodo.


EVALUATION PROCESS & ACCEPTANCE LETTERS 

All submitted posters will be scored by 2 members of the Scientific Committee.

Acceptance letters will be sent by April 5, 2021 via e-mail. Relevant information about your poster presentation will be sent to you beginning of May.

The poster presenting author must be registered for the conference at the latest by April 19, 2021.

Posters submitted by presenting authors who do not register for the conference and do not complete the payment by the deadline will be removed from the final programme and will not be published.

POSTER PRESENTATION INFORMATION

The accepted posters will be presented as printed posters. All posters will appear on poster boards in the poster area and will be available for viewing for participants at all times during the conference.

  • All the material necessary for attaching the poster to the poster board will be available at the posters’ help desk in the respective poster area.
  • Setup time starts at insert time and date. All posters must be set up at the latest by insert time and date. Posters have to be taken down or will be removed and tossed at insert time and date.


POSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTION

  • Format of the posters is portrait.
  • The size of each poster is maximum 110cm in height and 90 cm in width 
  • Poster should be printed as it was submitted and accepted. Changes are not allowed.
  • A clear, simple and uncluttered arrangement is the most attractive and the easiest to read
  • Abstract title, author(s) and affiliation(s) should appear on top of the poster
  • The title should be approximately 3in (7cm) high
  • All text should be legible from a distance of approximately 5ft (1.50m). Type size should be at least 24 point, in bold style. The typeface chosen should be a simple and clear one (e.g. Helvetica or Arial)
  • Colour should be used sparingly, to provide contrast
  • Illustrations should be simple and eye-catching, with unnecessary detail left out. If possible, convert tables to graphic displays. Pie charts can be used to show parts of a whole, line graphs can be used to show trends or changing relationships, and bar graphs can be used to show volumes
  • Photos should be enlarged enough to show relevant details
